Where is your ceramics made?

All pieces are created in our studio in Hamburg – shaped, glazed and fired by hand.

Is each piece unique?

Because our ceramics are handmade, no two pieces are exactly alike. Small variations in shape, glaze, or surface are not flaws, but rather an expression of the craftsmanship – making each piece unique.

How long does it take to make one piece?

Custom-made items usually require a lead time of 2-4 weeks , as each piece is carefully handcrafted.

Why does the production of ceramics take so long?

Ceramics aren't created at the push of a button – every step in the process is crucial: from shaping to drying and glazing, right up to the final firing. Each piece follows its own rhythm – and this cannot be rushed.

Is every mug shipped immediately?

No, our pieces are mostly made to order . Production begins after the order is received and takes about 2-4 weeks until it is shipped.

What happens if something goes wrong during production?

Because ceramics is a delicate craft, small surprises can occasionally occur in the kiln or during production. In such cases, the piece will be remade with the same care. We do our best to avoid delays, but ask for your patience should one arise.

How long does a larger order or on-demand production take?

For larger production runs, the duration depends on the quantity. The schedule will be individually coordinated with you as soon as the order is received.

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, we also offer international delivery.

Can I return a piece?

Since our ceramic pieces are handmade and often individually made to order, returns are unfortunately not possible. Slight variations in shape, color, or surface are characteristic of handmade pieces and do not constitute grounds for complaint.

Is your ceramic piece dishwasher safe?

Yes. Our pieces are dishwasher safe and easy to care for.
For particularly long-lasting enjoyment, we still recommend careful handling – as with anything that is meant to last.

Can I request a custom engraving?

Yes, custom embossing is possible. If an item can be personalized, you can select the corresponding option in the relevant field. Select "Personalize". You can then easily enter your text in the notes field at checkout. We will gladly process your request, provided it is technically feasible.
